Get started with screening

Screen an entity and investigate results before recording a case decision.

Start a screening

Screening availability depends on your plan and permissions. If the latest screening fails, the screening area advises retrying or reviewing previous case history.

  1. Open the entity and check its identifying details.
  2. Select Screen Entity if available. In Start Screenings, review the selected entity and any related entities.
  3. Select Start Screening and check the screening area for progress or errors.

Review the results

A potential match is not automatically a confirmed match. A screening result is evidence for your due diligence, not a guarantee that every risk has been found.

  1. Open the screening results and inspect each potential match and its details.
  2. Use the available True Positive or False Positive verdicts after investigating each profile.
  3. Once the profiles have been reviewed, consider the available case decision in line with your organisation's procedures.
